I have a friend with PTSD who lives by this motto. It resounds with me as well – you never know when you will take your last breath. So get out and make the most of life while you can!

… but not everybody lives! Do you truly live your life or are just floating along? Ask yourself that question. If you can’t answer it immediately with “yes, I do live my life” then it’s time to change something!

I know that there are some parts of our life that we would rather not go through, stuff that we would rather not do. And yet they are necessary or they simply have to be done. But there’s plenty of time on the side to make your life worth living. So do it! Don’t wait! Don’t find excuses!

A Bullying Lesson

A Momma’s View has hit this right on the head. As a kid, I was frequently bullied and it has affected me…. but I came out stronger than anyone!

I just finished reading this amazing post here, written by Leslie Blanchard, which I truly wish all of you would read. Not only is it a post about the different ways bullying can occur but about the way we, as parents, need to deal with it.

First thing that comes to my mind if I think about bullying is kids that get physical in order to get something. But there are so many ways. Verbal abuse is for sure up there too. And then there are the little ones, the ones we maybe not even consider bullying. Like ignoring other kids. So many ways to hurt others, right?

Haulin’ The Hume Highway 31 Road Run

Well – the dates have been set for the next Haulin’ The Hume Road Run. The dates are Saturday and Sunday, April 1 and 2, 2017.

Starting from Clarendon Showground near Windsor, the trucks then join the route from there to Yass along the old Hume Highway alignment which is mostly private property these days. I will be your roving HTH reporter as I will be there accompanying a mate of mine in his White Road Commander

Vale Merle Haggard

It is with deep sadness that I announce the passing of Merle Haggard at the age of 79. Merle had been fighting a battle with pneumonia which would ultimately claim his life…. he had many number ones with songs like “Okie from Muskogee” and “Mama Tried”.
