Friendship

Just thought I’d share this in the wake of the terrorist attack in Nice, France and the shootings in Baton Rouge, LA, USA….

Lessons from my daughter

Friendship is 2 cheerleaders helping their teammate on her first night of joining their baseball program!

Friendship means it doesn’t matter if your jersey is blue or gray, if you are having a hard time, we will hold your hands!

The world needs more of this

You’re welcome – I’m having trouble getting my head around all of this senseless murdering going on in the world at the moment….. where’s it all going to stop??? This is why posts like this ring true with me

I believe we are all at a loss with regards to what’s happening in the world… We do need to stay hopeful and continue to be the best people we can be. Emily makes me a better person and I hope to shield her from all the negativity that is out there in the world.

It is a senseless loss of life that is totally unnecessary…. I remember being in Sydney (Australia) a few days prior to the Lindt Cafe siege in December 2014 and knowing that I could have been there. I remember walking into the cafe in May 2015 (not quite 6 months after it happened) and getting that “spooky” feeling from knowing what had happened
